We are fortunate in Provence to have an endless bounty of wonderful fresh produce, artisanal foods, beautiful fruits, almonds, and olives, locally produced olive oil and goat cheeses. Visitors often ask why everything tastes so much better here? The answer is complex and easy at the same time. From animals who graze upon open pastures and fresh grasses – all perfumed by the herbs de Provence – which grow naturally throughout the countryside, the mistral winds which carry them, a very special terroir and the passion of its farmers and purveyors.
