I founded my tour business, Provence Cultural Tours, a few years after moving to France in 2003 and have been enthusiastically leading cultural tours and foodie forays ever since!
I am fluent in French and passionate about the history and culture of Provence. Having done extensive research to develop unique tour itineraries, including exceptional historic sites, scenic routes, and wonderful authentic restaurants throughout the region. I have been leading tours in Provence for over 12 years.
I thank my parents for giving me an appreciation of the countryside, having been raised on a farm in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. I have always been keenly interested in fine food and wine, how things are grown and produced.
After graduating from the University of Boulder, Colorado, I began a career in Marketing, but my passion for the culinary arts, led me to eventually manage a French Bistro, and launch a career as a food professional, first in the US, then in France. I am an avid world traveler, who loves discovering the cuisine and wine of other countries. At home in Provence, I enjoy meeting local people in Provence, farmers, foraging in the countryside, and spending time around the table enjoying meals with family and friends.
