After living in Provence for over 10 years now what never ceases to impress me is the abundance and quality of wonderfully produced artisanal food products that can be found here in the markets.   The French commitment to quality is unwavering.  There are scrumptious handmade goodies in nearly every town and small village: beautiful cheeses and breads, meats and fruits, olives and olive oil, black truffles, not to mention the wine!

The local markets are a food lover’s paradise. This is where you will find the best produce in Provence. The market venders keep it small and insist on top quality. They rely on the freshest products, from small producers. It is often the farmer himself selling his wares.  I have taken the time to get to know these market vendors, they enjoy meeting my clients because they know that you are genuinly interested in learning about their products.
